About the position

As a BAS/BMS Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our team, focusing on the startup and commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Building Management Systems (BMS). Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the installation and testing of control systems, particularly within the Tridium Niagara platform. You will be tasked with ensuring that all hardware installations are executed flawlessly and that software programming meets the high standards expected by our clients. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems at various customer locations, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively. In this position, you will collaborate closely with other engineers and technicians to deliver top-notch HVAC solutions to our clients. Your expertise in BAS/BMS will be essential in guiding the team through complex installations and ensuring that all systems are fully operational upon completion. You will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of major HVAC brands, enhancing your skills and knowledge in the industry. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology and enjoys hands-on work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Startup and commissioning of BAS/BMS control systems.
  • Oversee hardware installation and software programming.
  • Repair DDC systems at customer locations.
  • Conduct testing within the Tridium Niagara platform.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project delivery.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls experience.
  • Familiarity with BAS systems such as Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, or Daikin.

Nice-to-haves

  • Tridium Niagara experience and/or certification.
  • HVAC controls programming experience.
  • DDC Controls experience.
