About the position

The Mission Critical Operations Manager at Automated Logic is responsible for overseeing operations related to strategic projects and data centers. This role involves managing a team of project managers, coordinators, and supervisors to ensure successful project execution and alignment with organizational goals. The Operations Manager will handle a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage field engineers through training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
  • Develop and deliver operations and projects to meet established targets and metrics.
  • Lead execution of operational goals to ensure alignment with broader organizational strategies.
  • Manage and lead a professional team to ensure the area of responsibility meets business strategy goals and objectives.
  • Coach team members to ensure operational excellence and deliver mission critical customer expectations.
  • Review contracts and agreements to ensure that the organization's interests are protected.
  • Develop and implement new business growth strategies to increase profitability and/or market share of the organization.
  • Represent ALC to key stakeholders to present a positive image of the organization.
  • Support compliance with all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), ethics, and quality control policies by overseeing necessary training, audits, and documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of management experience in strategic planning, budgeting, coaching, and leading people.
  • 5+ years of experience or technical knowledge of building controls/automation systems.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Drivers License.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Management experience with a focus on large-scale projects, particularly within data centers or mission-critical environments.
  • Project Management Professional Certificate or other relevant certification.
  • Project Management skills and experience with data centers.
  • Experience working within a construction environment.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategies to grow business profitability and market share.
  • Analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A positive outlook with an ability to motivate and empower.
  • Adaptable to changing work environments.
