About the position

The Baseball Player Development Coordinator / Business Operations position at the University of North Carolina Wilmington is responsible for coordinating the operational logistics of the UNCW Baseball program. The role requires adherence to NCAA rules and regulations and involves assisting the Head Coach in leading a Division I program, focusing on player development and academic success.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational logistics for the UNCW Baseball program.
• Schedule practices and game day activities.
• Assist in the coordination of all team travel.
• Perform administrative functions such as budget management and travel reconciliation.
• Enforce policies and procedures of the department and university, as well as NCAA rules and regulations.
• Manage daily player development activities, specifically for position players.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Must possess CPR Certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree with Division I coaching experience.
• Demonstrated success in recruitment of scholarship athletes.
• Certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
