About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Operator to oversee the operation of plant machinery and equipment, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment performance, and maintenance activities.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to plant operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience as a Plant Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in an industrial setting.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts as needed.
