About the position
Re-Bath, the nation's largest bathroom remodeler, is seeking a detail-oriented Bathroom Installer to join our rapidly growing team in San Diego, CA. Since 1978, we have completed over 1,000,000 bathroom remodels, providing high-quality materials and a seamless process for our clients. As the exclusive bathroom installer for Lowe's in our market, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and craftsmanship. This position is ideal for individuals with solid carpentry or plumbing experience who are looking for consistent work and a rewarding career in bathroom remodeling. The Bathroom Installer will be responsible for a variety of tasks including demolition, framing, insulation, drywall installation, flooring installation, and setting tubs and showers. The role also involves installing vanity cabinets, stone tops, hanging mirrors and cabinets, trim carpentry, and tile installation. Customer service is a key component of this position, as the installer will work closely with homeowners to ensure their satisfaction throughout the remodeling process. Project management skills are essential, as the installer will oversee the various stages of the installation and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards. In addition to technical skills, we are looking for a self-starter with a positive customer-oriented attitude. The successful candidate will receive training on our custom products and standards to support their success in this role. This is a full-time position with competitive pay ranging from $22 to $50 per hour, plus bonus incentives. A company truck and gas card will be provided, along with health insurance and other benefits.
Responsibilities
- Demolition of existing bathroom fixtures and structures
- Framing and insulation work
- Drywall installation, mudding, and taping
- Flooring installation
- Setting tubs, showers, and solid surface walls
- Installing vanity cabinets and stone tops
- Hanging mirrors and cabinets
- Performing trim carpentry
- Tile installation
- Providing excellent customer service and working closely with homeowners
- Managing projects and ensuring timely completion of installations
- Performing light plumbing and electrical work
Requirements
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- 2 years of construction experience preferred
- Ability to pass a background and drug test
- Strong customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with a perfectionist approach to work
- Self-starter with a positive attitude
