About the position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Installer to join our team at Tub and Tile in Pittsburgh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and possess the necessary skills to complete installation projects efficiently and safely. The Installer will work on a variety of projects, including masonry, construction painting, and carpentry, ensuring that all work meets our high standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair various construction materials, including stucco, plaster, and heavy equipment.
• Conduct site visits to assess construction sites and identify any potential hazards or issues.
• Operate heavy equipment, such as cranes and forklifts, to facilitate the installation process.
• Use specialized tools and techniques to perform door hanging, restoration work, and other installation tasks.
• Work closely with carpenters and other construction professionals to complete installation projects.
• Utilize Bluebeam software to track and manage construction projects.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure they remain in good working condition.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and timelines.
• Comply with all safety protocols and regulations on construction sites.

Requirements

• Proficiency in masonry, carpentry, and construction painting techniques.
• Experience with heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of restoration techniques and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Familiarity with stucco and plaster installation and repair.
• Skill in door hanging and installation.
• Experience with construction painting and finishing techniques.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of carpentry experience (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Preferred)
