Bathtub Repair Technician

About the position

Surface Experts is seeking a Bathtub Repair Technician to join our growing local team. Our mission is to develop outstanding teams by investing in strong relationships, and we aim to solve our customers' problems by reducing waste in time, money, and materials that end up in landfills. As a national franchise, we are focused on establishing a recognized market for surface repair as an alternative to replacement or complete refinishing. The ideal candidate will have experience in repairing bathtubs and familiarity with common tub building materials such as fiberglass, gel coat, enameled steel, and acrylic. The role requires a commitment to a comprehensive training process and a minimum two-year commitment to the position.

Responsibilities

• Repair damages to bathtubs that occur during or after installation.
• Utilize various tools and techniques to perform surface repairs.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

Requirements

• Experience working with hands in construction, manufacturing, or related fields.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance is helpful.
• Ability to understand color matching; color blindness is a disqualifier.
• Commitment to a minimum of 2 years in the role.
• Attention to detail and commitment to meet project timelines.
• Customer service experience and excellent work ethic.

• Art background or experience in color matching is beneficial.
