About the position

As a Temporary Benefits & Payroll Coordinator at Peak Achievement Athletics, you will play a crucial role in supporting the processing and reporting of all Health and Welfare plan administration services and programs. This position is a 3-month temporary role with the potential for permanent placement, reporting directly to the Benefits Manager at our Exeter, New Hampshire office. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks related to both benefits administration and payroll processing, ensuring that our employees receive the support they need in a timely and efficient manner. In the benefits domain, you will be responsible for performing claim research and resolution support, auditing and processing benefit invoices, and assisting with overall Benefit Administration. You will also administer Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) employer funding, and assist in the preparation and filing of compliance reporting, including ACA and nondiscrimination testing. Maintaining benefit policies and documentation will be essential, as will coordinating and communicating local events and providing administrative support for the Global Wellness program. Additionally, you will run ad hoc reporting and analysis to support both internal and external stakeholders. On the payroll side, you will serve as a backup for payroll processing in the US and Canada, supporting the payroll approval process across multiple countries including Sweden, Germany, Finland, and Taiwan. Your role will also involve assisting with compliance reporting and filing, as well as running ad hoc reporting and analysis to support various stakeholders. This position requires a proactive approach and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs, all while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • BS or BA in Human Resources, Business or related field, or equivalent years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Human Resources role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related tools, formulas, and functions.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now Payroll System is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain a heightened level of confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
