Responsibilities

• Engage directly with independent agents to generate profitable premium growth.
• Appoint high-quality agencies and expand new business production within each agency.
• Ensure high retention of desired policy renewals.
• Articulate LightSpeed's product, service, and differentiators to increase agency production share.
• Gather competitive intelligence related to marketing tactics and product offerings.
• Track agent interactions and report key insights to leadership.
• Evaluate and report on agent performance.
• Create strategic and tactical growth plans for the territory.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in the California homeowners insurance industry as a carrier/MGA sales representative.
• Strong network of existing agency contacts in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Outstanding communication skills, both in-person and virtually.
• Expertise in HO3 and DP3 insurance products.
• Analytical skills to evaluate agency potential and prioritize efforts for growth.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with E&S market and agency quote & bind applications.
• Experience with CRM software and Salesforce.
