About the position

The BC 365 Analyst (F&O) position is focused on managing and optimizing the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment, particularly in finance and accounting. The role involves analyzing financial requirements, designing solutions, and implementing processes to enhance financial reporting and streamline accounting operations, ultimately improving overall business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial and accounting workflows to identify areas for improvement within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Configure and customize Business Central financial modules to align with accounting standards and business needs.
  • Manage data migration, integration, and validation of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop custom financial reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights into financial performance.
  • Provide end-user support for finance and accounting teams, troubleshoot issues, and deliver training sessions.
  • Conduct testing of financial modules to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
  • Collaborate with accounting, finance, IT, and other teams to support financial projects and initiatives.
  • Create and maintain financial system documentation, including technical specifications and user guides.
  • Stay current with Business Central updates and accounting best practices, recommending system enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, specifically in finance and accounting modules.
  • Strong analytical skills focused on financial process optimization and system enhancement.
  • Proficiency in financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or other financial data analytics tools is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to financial detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical information for accounting and finance teams.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic financial environment.
  • Experience in financial project management or ERP implementation is an advantage.
