About the position

The BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) will provide support to individuals and their families through the coordination and delivery of Applied Behavior Analysis services. This role involves overseeing programming for associate behavior analysts and providing supervision to Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in implementing Behavior Support Plans. The position emphasizes collaboration with a dedicated team to enhance the lives of children and families, fostering a creative problem-solving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and educate a dedicated team of RBTs, ensuring effective therapy provision and adequate breaks.
  • Oversee day-to-day case management for children on the autism spectrum, including conducting assessments and creating individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide 30+ treatment hours per week for clients, ensuring clinical quality and compliance.
  • Offer consistent family guidance and support throughout the treatment process.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to make important decisions regarding center operations.
  • Function in a supervisory capacity, providing oversight and training to direct support professionals.
  • Assist in the development and facilitation of training in Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Maintain communication with all stakeholders, including parents and community agencies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Special Education or a related human services field.
  • Successful completion of internship and/or formal training in behavior analysis.
  • Certified as a BCBA and possess a Texas LBA license.
  • Demonstrated competence in behavior management and instructional skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with families and conducting family trainings.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with DTT programming and implementation.
  • Ability to respond quickly to communications via phone, text, and email.
  • Flexible availability for part-time contracted cases.
