About the position

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position at Adapt for Life involves providing exceptional ABA therapy services to children with developmental disabilities, particularly autism. The role focuses on developing and implementing behavioral assessments and treatment programs, managing a caseload of clients, and providing training and support to families and caregivers. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive behavioral assessments and treatment programs for children and their families.
  • Manage coordination of case management activities.
  • Oversee a caseload of 6-8 clients while billing 25 hours per week, with bonus tiers for billing more.
  • Provide training to parents and caregivers to implement treatment programs.
  • Provide clinical supervision and training of clinical staff.
  • Travel independently to clients' homes and community locations.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments.
  • Provide consultative services to parents, teachers, and other clinical/educational personnel.
  • Organize and facilitate treatment team meetings.
  • Ensure effective and timely documentation of all paperwork and communications regarding treatment plans and goals.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education/special education, or a related field.
  • BCBA Certification required or waiting to take BACB examination.
  • Current or ability to obtain Behavior Analyst Licensure.
  • At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavior disorders.
  • Experience in behavioral assessment and treatment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with children on the autism spectrum.
  • Possess a valid Driver's license.
