About the position

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at BlueHawk Creative Learning Center is responsible for leading and supervising Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized programs, and providing training and support to staff and caregivers. The BCBA will also manage documentation and ensure compliance with coding and billing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise ABA Program
• Conduct functional behavior assessments
• Develop and implement ABA programs
• Conduct parents and caregiver training
• Provide supervision for Behavior Technicians & Instructional Assistants
• Perform the Competency Assessment for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
• Provide support, coaching, and mentorship for RBTs & Instructional Assistants
• Manage session notes, progress notes, and treatment plans
• Communicate with national coding, billing, and insurance teams
• Provide training, coaching, and support to RBTs and BCaBAs

Requirements

• Master's Degree or higher in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Special Education, or Psychology
• Valid BCBA Certification
• Applicable licensure to practice within the state of KS and MO
• Minimum 2 years' experience in ABA
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
