About the position

The BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) position at BrightSpring Health Services involves providing holistic behavioral support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and mental illness. The role emphasizes the use of evidence-based programs and therapies to enhance the quality of life for clients, ensuring that their unique needs are met through tailored interventions. Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing assessments to meet the needs of patients served.
• Communicate between supervisors, direct care staff members, family members, guardians, and collateral individuals regarding an individual's progress.
• Provide a tentative schedule to supervisors of appointments, home visits, and observations to monitor work advancement.
• Coordinate home visits to meet the requirements of in-home observations, chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis.
• Ensure implementation of the program plan is effective and properly carried out.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other pertinent meetings as required.
• Complete monthly and quarterly progress notes.
• Organize trainings to certify staff and ensure team members are competent in the implementation of the program plan and/or documentation sheets.
• Provide follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations for continued support of an individual's needs.
• Maintain records to guarantee information is readily available to interested parties.
• Act as a liaison with the public and mental health community to provide support with development goals.
• Assist in creating procedures for training materials to improve programs for individuals.

Requirements

• BCBA licensure
• Experience with behavioral intervention, and/or a strong educational emphasis on the principles of learning and developmental psychology
• Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
• Master's Degree
