About the position

The Hybrid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Maxim Healthcare Services is responsible for providing clinical oversight for clients receiving Behavior Respite services. This role involves developing individualized treatment plans, supervising direct care staff, and ensuring the effective implementation of behavior change procedures. The BCBA will work closely with families to model effective strategies and monitor treatment progress, all while promoting client independence and safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop treatment plans that are individualized and evidence-based, focusing on reducing challenging behavior.
• Model the implementation of effective behavior change procedures for families.
• Provide supervisory oversight to behavioral direct care staff.
• Monitor treatment progress and effectiveness, updating treatment plans as needed.
• Assist clients with basic self-help needs and promote independence.
• Support clients in socialization skills and provide families with respite from caregiving duties.

Requirements

• Active license or certification in good standing (e.g., BCBA, Licensed Behavior Analyst, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
• Supervisory and behavioral assessment experience preferred.
• Experience providing behavioral services to children and adults preferred.
• Experience in quality management preferred.
• Proficiency in English.
