About the position

Momentum Behavior Services (MBS) is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Clinical Supervisor to join their team in Petaluma, CA. This full-time position involves supervising Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBTs) and implementing individualized behavior plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. The BCBA will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families, while also providing training and support to staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision to Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBTs) working with clients
  • Develop individual-specific behavior plans in accordance with ABA principles
  • Train staff members on their client's specific behavior treatment plans
  • Conduct weekly reviews of data to ensure treatment effectiveness
  • Modify programs that are not making progress or that the client has mastered
  • Conduct assessments such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS, or AFLS upon intake and every 6 months thereafter
  • Track authorization dates for clients and update treatment plans before they expire
  • Monitor and adjust behavior plans throughout the treatment period
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) as needed
  • Provide regular parent/caretaker training
  • Provide direct coverage as needed
  • Assist with any clinical needs as they arise
  • Supervise RBTs working towards their BCBA certification
  • Conduct weekly and monthly competencies for RBTs
  • Review RBTs session notes for accuracy and provide feedback
  • Provide initial corrective feedback to RBTs as part of disciplinary procedures
  • Proactively manage and develop RBT staff

Requirements

  • BCBA Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required
  • Master's degree in special education, psychology, or related field
  • Three or more years providing ABA treatment to individuals with ASD
  • Experience working in the human service field with high intensity target behaviors
  • Strong analysis, judgment, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
