About the position

The BCBA position is a part-time role focused on providing personalized in-home ABA therapy for children with autism. The role emphasizes a flexible schedule with evening and afternoon hours, allowing professionals to manage their caseload effectively while ensuring high-quality care. The position involves designing and supervising ABA programs, collaborating with families, and utilizing evidence-based practices to support children's development.

Responsibilities

  • Design and supervise home ABA programs, including implementing assessments and developing treatment plans.
  • Create behavior plans based on functional assessments and positive behavior support plans.
  • Prioritize goals based on parental input and provide ongoing parent training.
  • Ensure ongoing data analysis to determine program effectiveness and make necessary modifications.
  • Proficiently implement ABLLS-R and VB-MAPP assessments to develop appropriate programming.
  • Supervise behavior technicians by providing ongoing training and mentorship.
  • Provide modeling of programs and corrective feedback in a supportive environment.
  • Utilize BST as a tool for training.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • BCBA certification in good standing.
  • Prior experience working in homes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in data collection methods and patient assessment techniques.
