About the position

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position at Action Behavior Centers involves providing high-quality behavioral therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). BCBAs will manage individual cases, develop treatment plans, and lead a team of Registered Behavior Therapists (RBTs) while ensuring compliance with clinical standards. The role offers opportunities for professional growth and a supportive work environment with a focus on clinician freedom and individualized care.

Responsibilities

  • Providing day-to-day case management for children on the autism spectrum.
  • Completing initial intake and recurring assessments using specific assessment tools.
  • Collecting data and creating individualized treatment plans for each child.
  • Providing 30+ treatment hours per week for clients.
  • Providing family guidance on a consistent basis.
  • Leading and educating a dedicated team of Registered Behavior Therapists.
  • Collaborating with a team dedicated to living ABC's core values.
  • Discharge and transition planning for children on the caseload.
  • Engaging, mentoring, and inspiring a team of BCBAs and RBTs as a Clinical Director.
  • Handling a client caseload of 3 patients as a Clinical Director.
  • Ensuring clinical quality training and compliance at the center.

Requirements

  • Currently a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or sitting for the BCBA exam within one month.
  • BCBA candidates must have at least 3 years of certification for Clinical Director roles.
  • A passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families.
