About the position
The BDC Service Specialist at Capitol Auto Group is responsible for developing and retaining service business through effective communication and customer engagement. This role requires a bilingual individual fluent in English and Spanish to interact with a diverse customer base, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction at every touchpoint. The position emphasizes teamwork, a positive attitude, and a commitment to the company's vision and values.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer contacts and follow-up for service inquiries.
- Develop new business and retain existing customers through effective communication.
- Receive and respond promptly to inbound service calls.
- Identify client needs and schedule appointments for the service department.
- Place outbound phone calls and emails to potential and existing clientele.
Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A positive attitude and exceptional work ethic.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Phone experience preferred but not required.
- Automotive sales experience preferred but not required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in sales or customer service.
- Familiarity with automotive industry practices.
