About the position

Iowa Digestive Disease Center is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join their team in Des Moines, Iowa. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in Iowa's largest physician-owned gastroenterology practice, which has been established for over 50 years. The role promises a quick track to partnership and ownership in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), along with a supportive work environment that includes Nurse Practitioners to assist with clinic duties and inpatient rounding.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care to patients.
• Participate in inpatient rounding and call duties with support from Nurse Practitioners.
• Engage in the established referral network to grow patient base.
• Contribute to the research program and pathology revenue initiatives.
• Utilize state-of-the-art GI lab facilities for patient procedures.

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
• Motivated and dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.
• Interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is a plus but not required.
