About the position

First Choice Security Guard & Patrol Services is seeking dedicated Security Guards for a prestigious condominium complex in Malibu. The role involves ensuring the safety and security of residents and their guests while providing exceptional customer service. The position is available for both full-time and part-time shifts, with a focus on vigilance and responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the property to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety.
• Enforce community rules and report incidents appropriately.
• Conduct regular hourly reports and maintain accurate logs using Silvertrac reporting software.
• Issue 96-hour notices for towing unauthorized vehicles and notify the tow company as needed.
• Record license plates of unauthorized parked vehicles.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing assistance as needed.
• Perform regular checks to ensure the premises are secure and report suspicious activities.
• Answer the assigned phone at all hours during the shift.
• Adhere to and enforce the community's non-smoking policy.
• Familiarize yourself with community rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Security Guard Card.
• Previous security experience is required.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant at all times.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Punctuality is essential; guards should arrive on time.
