About the position

The Beauty Advisor at Saks Fifth Avenue is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and building strong customer relationships within the cosmetics department. This role involves maintaining a well-merchandised counter, participating in training programs, and utilizing clienteling tools to enhance customer engagement and sales performance. The Beauty Advisor will work closely with the Cosmetics Selling Manager to achieve individual and vendor sales goals while ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and build strong customer relationships.
• Achieve and exceed individual and vendor line sales goals.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized selling area.
• Utilize Saks Fifth Avenue's clienteling system to manage client information and preferences.
• Participate in in-house training programs and events.
• Demonstrate professional make-up and treatment consultations and applications.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and management.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a cosmetics environment.
• Demonstrated successful sales experience, exceeding quotas.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in using online clienteling tools and software.
• Strong attention to detail and initiative in a positive work environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to drive business success.
• Sound business judgment and organizational skills.
