About the position

The Beauty Advisor at Sally Beauty is responsible for creating a memorable shopping experience for customers by providing expert advice on beauty products, including hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails. This role emphasizes building relationships with customers, informing them about promotions, and ensuring they are enrolled in the Loyalty program. The position requires a passion for beauty and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, supported by training and knowledge provided by Sally Beauty.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire loyalty among customers.
• Recommend additional and complimentary products to enhance customer experience.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events to drive sales.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues to management.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty's Culture Values in all interactions.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, and reach as required by the job.
• Ability to handle moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
