About the position

This position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in a retail sales environment that necessitates meeting defined sales goals, or at least one year of experience in proactively selling beauty or cosmetic products while providing customer care. The role involves developing strategies to achieve goals with minimal supervision, relying on oneself to complete objectives, and knowing when to escalate issues. Knowledge of products and brands is essential to engage customers effectively. Building and maintaining relationships within a team is also a key responsibility. Basic PC and tablet skills are required, along with a willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is mandatory, except in Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities

• Meet defined sales goals in a retail environment.
• Proactively sell beauty or cosmetic products.
• Provide excellent customer care.
• Develop strategies to accomplish goals with minimal supervision.
• Engage customers by utilizing knowledge of products and brands.
• Build and maintain relationships within the team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in retail sales or selling beauty products.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Basic PC/tablet skills.
• Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Licensure in Cosmetology or as an Esthetician.
• Experience in establishing relationships with individuals at all levels.
• Experience in demonstrating makeup application and providing makeovers.
• Experience selling Prestige brands.
• Degree from Beauty School.
• Experience with another retailer in the form of an Externship.
