About the position

The Beauty Educator is responsible for fostering strong relationships with retailer employees, clients, and internal teams while demonstrating in-depth product knowledge during in-store visits. This part-time role supports multiple brands and locations, focusing on educating retail Beauty Advisors and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with retailer employees and clients.
• Show up on time for scheduled shifts.
• Achieve sales goals set for each visit.
• Educate retail Beauty Advisors on supported brands by sharing product knowledge and tips.
• Complete in-store surveys after every shift.
• Communicate effectively with the Headkount team via the Headkount app.
• Uphold merchandising brand guidelines.
• Become proficient in each assigned brand using provided training resources.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience working for a beauty brand or major beauty retailer.
• Excellent retail selling and education background.
• Experience hosting beauty retail events.
• Proficient in multicategory selling.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated passion for beauty retail, training, selling, and building relationships.
• Professional conduct in-store and demonstrated team player.
• Technology skills: video calls, phone calls, text messages, smart phone applications.
• Must be willing to commute a minimum of 30 miles.
• Must have a cell phone.
• Must have a flexible schedule, available to work weekends.
