About the position

P&G's BeautyHouse is the in-house, multidisciplinary design studio for beauty brands around the world. We are comprised of a diverse array of skills, backgrounds, and viewpoints. We sit elbow to elbow with Marketing, R&D, Finance, and Package Development to generate a broad spectrum of insights. As a Graphic Designer within P&G's Beauty Care team, you will focus on developing a broad range of creative work, including 2D package design, in-store, and digital activation. As a hands-on creative, you will need expertise in the relevant design software to deliver established design concepts to finished executions and an understanding of the creative design process to bring your ideas to life. You will collaborate with other like-minded creatives and multidisciplinary teams to support the business needs. In this role, you will build concepts and execute the visual strategy for the brand across consumer touchpoints including packaging, promotional materials, visual communications, eCommerce, and social media. You will ensure brand guidelines and directives are embraced consistently and creatively, communicate and justify conceptual and directional choices, and be accountable for excellent execution.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Graphic Design or similar field.
  • 2-5 years of full-time design work experience (outside of freelance work).
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong Design Mastery in graphic design and brand identity.
  • Passion for beauty, with an understanding of category trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Keen eye and attention to detail critical to win in the beauty category.
  • Ability to see the consumer as a person and ideate solutions with the consumer in mind.
  • Experience in package design with an understanding of basic print feasibility.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to justify your conceptual and directional design choices with multi-functional partners.
  • Comfortable giving and receiving feedback.
  • Flexible in an environment of constant change.
  • Disciplined with superior time and project management skills; possess the ability to set priorities and be accountable.
  • Expertise in the latest graphics and business programs: Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft (Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).

Benefits
