About the position
CVS Health is seeking a talented, sales-oriented Beauty Sales Consultant for its beauty retail division. This role is crucial as CVS Health continues to grow as America's leading retail pharmacy with over 9,000 stores. The Beauty Sales Consultant will be the primary beauty advisor, providing exceptional customer service and sharing extensive industry knowledge to enhance the client experience. The position emphasizes a passion for beauty and sales skills, aiming to create a personalized shopping experience for each customer.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable sales service to customers in the beauty zone.
- Engage customers in conversation to understand their needs and provide specialized sales advice.
- Utilize verbal skills to generate sales and stimulate customer interest.
- Educate customers on product usage and benefits, leveraging CVS beauty programs to build relationships.
- Participate in company sales programs and events to positively impact business.
- Create and maintain product displays and promotional materials for beauty products.
- Ensure the beauty zone is well-stocked, well-merchandised, and compliant with hygiene standards.
- Execute CVS tester sanitation and hazardous waste disposal policies in a timely manner.
- Complete ongoing training to ensure sales and product knowledge are current.
- Meet sales budget and track progress towards sales goals.
Requirements
- Sales oriented with the ability to use sales data to meet goals.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Goal-driven with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability for retail scheduling, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and peak hours.
- Willingness to perform ear-piercing services (training provided).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred for specific stores.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
