About The Position
Beaverton High School seeks a highly qualified individual to serve as Head Football Coach. A successful candidate will possess high ethical and professional standards, the presence and desire to be a role model for high school student athletes on and off the field, and a commitment to the importance of academic excellence and achievement for all student-athletes in the program. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to be a positive leader of the football program and develop and instruct young athletes academically, physically, and emotionally. Additionally, the candidate must have a highly tuned ability to communicate effectively to a variety of stakeholders with various methods, and possess skills in organization, teaching, program development, time management, fundraising, and public relations. A thorough knowledge of the game of football, skill development, training, and coaching techniques is essential.
