About the position

The Beer & Wine Sales Support Specialist at Superior Beverage Group plays a crucial role in assisting sales personnel by managing point-of-sale materials, building displays, and ensuring effective product shelf management. This position is essential for maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in a fast-paced, physical environment focused on delivering beer and wine needs across Northeastern and Central Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Account Managers and Delivery Drivers to execute sales and merchandising plans.
• Build displays, place point-of-sale materials, rotate products, and ensure proper pricing.
• Utilize current thematic point-of-sale materials when building and maintaining displays.
• Develop and maintain relationships with retailers to promote a positive company image.
• Address inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Promote proper shelf space management according to company standards.
• Ensure products are properly priced, rotated, and merchandised.
• Complete all daily assignments efficiently.
• Check account pricing and communicate discrepancies to relevant personnel.

Requirements

• Previous sales and/or relevant work experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively persuade and influence others.
• Problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of customer service standards.
• Use of basic hand tools and equipment dolly.
• Ability to maneuver 168-pound kegs and 35-pound cases regularly.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
