About the position

The Before & After Care Worker at Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) plays a vital role in creating a safe and engaging environment for students during before and after school programs. This position focuses on supervising students, maintaining order, and providing support in various activities, ensuring that students have a positive experience while adhering to CSUSA policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining an orderly, safe, and pleasant atmosphere in designated locations.
• Help and supervise students during before or after school programs.
• Follow proper student sign-in and dismissal procedures for Before Care.
• Follow proper student check-in and dismissal procedures for After Care.
• Monitor students and observe who enters and leaves the childcare area.
• Distribute snacks to students.
• Engage in play with students on the playground.
• Tutor and assist students with homework.
• Resolve conflicts with children and parents.

Requirements

• High school diploma or higher education credential.
• Previous experience as a daycare assistant or summer camp counselor is preferred.
• Must have a genuine liking for children.
