About the position

The Boys & Girls Club of the Foothills is seeking a passionate Youth Mentoring Professional to work in a part-time capacity within their before-school program for elementary-aged students. This role focuses on providing a safe and engaging environment for children in TK-5th grade, facilitating social/emotional learning and enrichment activities. The ideal candidate will build transformative relationships with students and support their academic needs while implementing structured programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of young people in the program.
• Build transformative relationships with students.
• Support young people in their academic needs.
• Plan and implement enriching programs and activities for students.

Requirements

• Passion for mentoring and youth development.
• Culturally competent with the ability to work with a diverse group of youth.
• Positive attitude and good work ethic.
• Ability to implement the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Foothills curriculum.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office programs.
