Behavior Interventionist BI

About the position

The Behavior Interventionist position at Comp Therapy involves providing school-based behavior services to students in the Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, and Los Angeles areas. The role focuses on implementing behavioral interventions in various settings, including one-on-one, small groups, and classroom support, while also collecting data on student progress towards IEP goals. This position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral intervention in one-on-one, two-on-one, small group, and whole class settings.
• Assist with toileting and daily functional skills if required.
• Collect data on student progress towards IEP goals.
• Document delivery of services in specified database on a daily/weekly basis.
• Provide support during transportation with the student to and from school.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or RBT License or at least 6 months to 1 year of previous experience working in a school-based setting as a Special Education Assistant or Behavior Interventionist.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Valid RBT Certification.
