The Behavior Interventionist role is designed for individuals looking to make a positive impact in the autism community by providing behavioral therapy and interventions to children. This entry-level position offers comprehensive training, making it accessible to candidates without prior experience. The role involves working closely with children in one-on-one sessions, collaborating with team members, and monitoring patient progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide behavioral therapy and interventions to children in one-on-one sessions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure treatment goals are met.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Requirements

  • Passion and patience for working with children and adolescents with special needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn how to implement behavior intervention plans.
  • Ability to work at least 15 hours for a part-time position.
  • Transportation to commute to the autism clinic or clients' homes.
