About the position
Easterseals Southern California is seeking part-time Behavior Interventionists to provide in-home, ABA-based therapy sessions to children on the autism spectrum. The position includes guaranteed hours pay, ongoing training, and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home ABA-based therapy sessions to children on the autism spectrum.
- Engage with children and families to implement behavioral strategies.
- Complete administrative tasks related to therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress.
- Participate in ongoing training and supervision to enhance skills.
Requirements
- Some college coursework completed or currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Proof of immunization records and TB test.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in early childhood education, psychology, nursing, or related fields.
- Previous volunteer work with children with ASD or related disabilities.
