About the position

Easterseals Southern California is seeking Behavior Interventionists to provide in-home, ABA-based therapy sessions to families and children on the autism spectrum. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in psychology, behavioral health, and autism services while receiving ongoing training and support. The position is ideal for individuals passionate about working with children and interested in developing their skills in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home ABA-based therapy sessions to children on the autism spectrum.
• Engage with children and families to implement behavioral interventions.
• Complete administrative tasks related to therapy sessions and client documentation.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Maintain reliable transportation to travel to client locations.

Requirements

• Some college coursework completed or currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Proof of immunization records and TB.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in early childhood education, psychology, nursing, or related fields.
• Previous volunteer work with children with ASD or related developmental disabilities.
