About The Position
The Behavior Interventionist supports students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment. This relationship-focused role emphasizes restorative and trauma-informed practices to manage behaviors and minimize classroom disruptions. Responding promptly to classroom walkie calls, the Behavior Interventionist de-escalates challenges and helps keep students engaged in learning. They collaborate with teachers, school leaders, and mental health providers to develop and implement effective behavioral strategies and training programs. Supervised by the Mental Health Provider, this role is ideal for individuals passionate about building relationships, solving problems, and empowering students to succeed.
