About the position

Creative Potential, LLC is seeking dedicated and self-motivated Behavior Technicians/RBTs to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and teens diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and behavioral challenges. This part-time role involves working directly with clients in their homes, community settings, and clinics, focusing on teaching essential skills and ensuring client safety while maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-to-one ABA therapy services to clients in their homes, community, and clinic.
• Teach skills such as communication, social skills, self-help skills, and functional play skills through ABA principles.
• Accurately record treatment data for programs and behavior reduction goals.
• Engage in and ensure client safety during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct with all clients.
• Communicate and work collaboratively with the CP team.
• Implement acquisition and behavior reduction plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).
• Occasionally lift 50lbs as part of client support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of experience executing in-home support for children and teens with complex diagnoses.
• Reliable transportation with a clean driving record.
• Up-to-date motor vehicle insurance.
• CPR & First Aid certification preferred.
• Proficiency in using programs related to work (e.g., Outlook, Office Suite).
• Exceptional documentation and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collect data in real-time.

Nice-to-haves

• Background in child development or experience working with children.
• Demonstrated engagement with local community resources and social service programs.
• Bilingual.
