About the position
The Behavior Technician role at Total Spectrum involves providing support to children with autism through applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy. Responsibilities
- Assist children with autism in learning and developing communication, socialization, and self-help skills through play-based therapy.
- Engage in training to support a career in behavior analysis and related fields.
- Create lasting, positive changes for children and their families.
- Work with children aged 2-22 in various settings including homes, schools, and centers.
Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years old on or before the first day of employment.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience in childcare or related fields such as teaching, coaching, or tutoring.
- Studied psychology, education, special education, or behavioral health.
