About the position

As a Behavior Technician at Total Spectrum, you will play a crucial role in helping children with autism develop essential skills through applied behavior analysis (ABA). Responsibilities

• Support children with autism in learning and developing communication, socialization, and self-help skills through play-based therapy.
• Engage in training to gain skills relevant to behavior analysis and related fields.
• Create positive change for children and their families through effective therapy techniques.
• Work with children in their homes, schools, or centers, adapting to their specific needs.

Requirements

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old by the first day of employment.
• Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License are preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience in childcare or related fields such as teaching, tutoring, or coaching.
• Studied psychology, education, special education, or behavioral health.
