Responsibilities
- Deliver direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment services to children diagnosed with autism, conducting sessions in various settings such as their homes, schools, or within the community.
- Work under the guidance of a program supervisor, instructing clients on essential skills such as communication, play, socialization, and fostering greater independence.
- Assist in addressing challenging behaviors.
- Collect, organize, and summarize behavioral data related to the child's treatment goals.
- Commit to consistent and dependable attendance for a minimum of 6 months, along with responsive and timely communication.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Part-time schedules starting from 3:00pm - flexibility for those juggling between school
- Able to commute up to 5-20 miles or 30-45 minutes
- Childcare experience required
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with children with autism
- Previous experience in a healthcare or educational setting
