This full-time position is ideal for individuals eager to gain experience working with students diagnosed with Autism in a supportive and ethically grounded environment. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children aged 6-22, helping them develop essential skills and improve their quality of life. Your work will involve implementing skill acquisition and behavior programs tailored to each child's needs. You will be responsible for conducting electronic data collection using Catalyst, ensuring accurate tracking of each child's progress. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work alongside other professionals, including Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), and Special Education Teachers, to provide comprehensive support to our students. The position requires a commitment to using restraint and hold techniques as learned through SOLVE training, which will be provided upon hire. You will also need to assist with basic needs such as feeding, diapering, toileting, and dressing, and be prepared to lift up to 60 lbs. The work environment is dynamic, requiring you to be on your feet for extended periods and proficient in using a computer for data entry and communication. We offer comprehensive training that caters to various learning styles, along with ongoing support from experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
