Responsibilities
- Assist children with autism in learning and developing communication, socialization, and self-help skills through play-based therapy.
- Gain training and skills relevant to behavior analysis and related fields.
- Create lasting, positive changes for children and their families.
- Engage in physical activities as required by specific client assignments.
Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years old by the first day of employment.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License are preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience working with children in various capacities such as babysitting, tutoring, or coaching.
- Studied or majored in psychology, education, special education, or a related field.
