About the position
As a Behavior Technician at Kyo, you will provide one-on-one support to children with autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. This role involves implementing a child-centric therapy model in various environments, including home, school, and community settings. You will work closely with a clinical supervisor to create engaging, play-based sessions tailored to each child's interests, while also receiving personalized mentorship and professional development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Implement child-centric therapy models in home, school, and community environments.
- Work one-on-one with clients to provide support and therapy.
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors to develop engaging therapy sessions.
- Incorporate each child's unique interests into therapy activities.
- Attend paid training sessions and complete required coursework for ABA certification.
Requirements
- RBT Certification or willingness to obtain it.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Experience working with children.
- Spanish speaking highly preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- BCaBA certification.
- Experience in special needs or behavioral intervention.
