About the position

The Behavior Technician at the Center for Applied Behavior Analysis, LLC (CABA) is responsible for providing direct intervention services to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and related developmental disabilities. This role involves implementing behavior plans and skill acquisition programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), ensuring personalized care and support for clients while adhering to ethical practices and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior plans and skill acquisition programs based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) as designed by a BCBA.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client programming and changes in programming.
  • Conduct ongoing preference assessments.
  • Accurately collect data in real-time as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with and train outside care providers and members of the client's clinical team.
  • Assist clients with personal care while maintaining their dignity.
  • Complete Internal Incident Reports (IIR) and Mandated Reporting in a timely manner.
  • Complete all required initial and ongoing staff trainings.
  • Adhere to ethical practices and core values of CABA.
  • Fulfill all requirements to obtain and maintain a credential as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • Complete other clinical and administrative activities as assigned.

Requirements

  • RBT Certification or willingness to obtain it.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and implementing behavior intervention services.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • 1+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to pass a TB test and criminal background check.

  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
