About the position

The Behavior Technician position at Key Autism Services involves providing in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children on the autism spectrum. Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism.
• Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during individual sessions.
• Conduct Discrete Trials and Natural Environment Teaching, using various teaching and reinforcement methods as per the Behavior Support Plan.
• Collaborate with a BCBA to implement ABA therapy principles and procedures.
• Effectively resolve conflicts and challenging situations with diplomacy.
• Maintain proactive communication with supervisors for feedback and guidance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or college degree required.
• RBT certification or completion of a 40-hour RBT course preferred.
• Previous experience or degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, Child Development, Education, or experience working with children in a licensed facility.
• Experience working with children is essential.
• Dependability and reliability are crucial for success in this role.
• Knowledge of Autism and ability to provide appropriate behavioral interventions.
• Integrity and professionalism in performing job duties.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or related fields.
• Previous work experience in a licensed facility with children.
