About the position
As a Behavior Technician at Kyo, you will provide one-on-one support to children with autism, implementing a child-centric therapy model in various environments such as home, school, and community. This role emphasizes personalized mentorship and professional growth opportunities while making a significant impact on the lives of clients. The position is part-time, allowing for flexible scheduling to accommodate personal needs.
Responsibilities
- Implement child-centric therapy sessions with clients in home, school, and community settings.
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors to tailor therapy sessions based on each child's unique interests.
- Participate in paid ABA training and mentorship programs.
- Utilize a proprietary care app to manage schedules and client interactions.
- Maintain reliable transportation for travel to client locations.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License.
- Valid RBT Certification (preferred).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism.
- Comfortable with technology and using apps for scheduling.
Nice-to-haves
- Spanish speaking highly preferred.
- Experience in behavioral therapy or related fields.
