Behavior Technician

About the position

As a Behavior Technician at Kyo, you will provide one-on-one support to children with autism, implementing a child-centric therapy model in various environments such as home, school, and community. This role emphasizes personalized mentorship and professional growth opportunities while making a significant impact on the lives of clients. The position is part-time, allowing for flexible scheduling to accommodate personal needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement child-centric therapy sessions with clients in home, school, and community settings.
• Collaborate with clinical supervisors to tailor therapy sessions based on each child's unique interests.
• Participate in paid ABA training and mentorship programs.
• Utilize a proprietary care app to manage schedules and client interactions.
• Maintain reliable transportation for travel to client locations.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License.
• Valid RBT Certification (preferred).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with children, particularly those with autism.
• Comfortable with technology and using apps for scheduling.

Nice-to-haves

• Spanish speaking highly preferred.
• Experience in behavioral therapy or related fields.
