About the position

The Behavior Train is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. This role is pivotal in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children, particularly those with special needs. As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by a BCBA.
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior.
  • Engage with children in therapeutic activities to promote learning.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and families regarding client progress.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.

Requirements

  • Valid RBT Certification or willingness to obtain it.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs.
  • Strong note-taking and data collection skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background in Psychology, Special Education, or Pediatric Therapies.
  • Experience in behavior analysis or related fields.
