The Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) position at First Children Services involves working directly with clients in both independent and group settings to implement individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with clients in independent and group settings
• Read and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collect session data and submit documentation in a timely manner
• Support healthy communication, social and behavioral skills
• Provide interactive therapeutic support to extinguish or minimize maladaptive behaviors
• Collaborate with the treatment team to increase positive behavioral outcomes

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Willingness to complete the RBT curriculum and get certified
• 1 year minimum of working with children
• 1 year of working in a direct care human services profession preferred but not required
• Comfortable with using technology for daily documentation
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
• Willingness to accept and implement feedback
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and run during shift
