About the position
The Behavior Technician (BT) position at Key Autism Services involves providing one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The role is focused on implementing behavior support plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and aims to bring meaningful changes to the lives of individuals and their families. This part-time position offers flexible schedules and opportunities for professional growth in the field of ABA.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior support plans and provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during therapy sessions using Rethink.
- Conduct discrete trials and implement behavior support and treatment plans.
Requirements
- High school diploma or bachelor's degree (preferred) or RBT certification.
- Experience in childcare, healthcare, or mental health settings.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and get up and off the floor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Dependable, positive, and reliable for the child's success.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Interest in pursuing RBT certification or BCBA program.
