About the position

The Behavior Technician position at the Center for Learning and Autism Support Services (CLASS) involves providing direct 1:1 support to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. This part-time role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping children and want to see the tangible results of their work. The position requires working in various settings, including clients' homes and community locations, and offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete training and minimum skills competency prior to working independently.
• Independently conduct 1:1 Behavior Therapy shifts (at least 2 hours in length per shift) using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Provide 1:1 behavior therapy to children diagnosed with developmental disorders in various locations including client's home, schools, and other community-based settings.
• Implement programming set up by the Clinical Director or Clinical Manager.
• Carry out clinical tasks assigned by the Clinical Director or Clinical Manager.
• Collect and record data accurately and efficiently in accordance with policies established by CLASS.
• Follow through with administrative tasks, including but not limited to responding promptly to emails/phone calls, corresponding with office staff, scheduling, time off requests, and completing time sheets.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Valid RBT Certification
• Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• Experience in time management
• Fluency in English (speak, write, read, and communicate)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding clients and staff
• Responsible, caring, and eager to learn
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Punctuality for all appointments and meetings
